Dura lex, sed lex, or "hard law, but law" – thunders a very well-known legal parochial, but in the 21st century, do we still want to absolutely adhere to complicated and burdensome regulations?

Legal Design is a new perspective on law, combining it with design thinking and technology. Can law be created, presented and communicated otherwise than by black and white text? What does design thinking have to do with law? Can new technologies affect how we use the law? Why is it worth adopting a user-centric perspective when thinking about law?
