Objects have long played a key role as a medium in interpersonal relationships and communication. In the world of brands and products, this can lead to a complex, often harmful, dynamics in which consumers are incited to emotional self-expression through purchases. Can we treat objects so well that the insult of "objectification" turns into a compliment?

The lecture aims to recognize how a person can establish a deeper relationship with a single object (even without the necessity to have it) and how an object can motivate interpersonal interactions, e.g. creating an integrated co-responsible community around him. In consumerism, characterized by an interest in the continual acquisition of goods, society tends to use objects without analyzing their origin and deeper value. Without a built relationship, things as such are external to man, and therefore disposable.
Creating attractive innovative interactions in which objects gain new value in the eyes of the user is one of the ways to create a bond with the object and reduce its disposability.

During the lecture, the speaker will try to answer the question of how can we create more meaningful, intimate, respectful and satisfying relationships with objects? Together, we will consider how to improve our ability to care for objects, and thus for each other and the planet.
