As pretty as a picture – a pervasive game about illustrations | EVENT CANCELLED

We are used to various illustrations colourfully adorning books and articles. But can we also encounter them on walks along our favourite streets? Let’s find out by playing the "As pretty as a picture" pervasive game, prepared by Gdynia City Museum as part of the Gdynia Design Days Festival. During the event, you will learn about the significance of illustrations and whether it is possible to find it in the centre of Gdynia.

At each stop, teams (families) receive an envelope containing tasks to do and a jigsaw puzzle piece made by our "From one end to the other" carpentry workshop. At the end of the game, the children will put the jigsaw pieces together, creating the illustration.

We warmly invite children aged 6–12 and their guardians.

Olga Lewandowska

Culture animator and illustrator. She graduated from the Artistic Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Currently, she works at the Education Center of the Gdynia City Museum, where she deals with educational and cultural activities aimed at the youngest children and families.
