Michał Olenycz

A graduate of oceanography with a specialization in marine biology. For 11 years, an employee of the Maritime Institute, which has been a unit of the Gdynia Maritime University for over two years. In his professional work, he mainly deals with the implementation of projects related to obtaining decisions on environmental conditions for projects implemented in Polish maritime areas. Co-author of the draft protection plans for Natura 2000 areas in the Gulf of Gdańsk and the Vistula Lagoon and the Spatial Development Plan of Polish Sea Areas. His unrealized scientific passions concern the influence of jelly-like zooplankton on the functioning of marine ecosystems and the causes behind its massive development.
